1. General Terms

- Eligibility: To rent a rideshare vehicle, you must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and meet the minimum requirements of the rideshare platform (Uber, Lyft, or others) you are renting the vehicle for.

- Rental Duration: We offer daily, weekly, and monthly rental plans for rideshare rentals. Extensions can be made depending on availability. Any rental extension is subject to approval and may incur additional fees.

- Rental Agreement: All rentals are subject to our standard rental agreement, which must be signed at the time of vehicle pickup. This includes agreements related to insurance, rental duration, and any additional fees.

2. Vehicle Usage

- Authorized Use: The vehicle is rented for the purpose of driving for Uber, Lyft, or delivery services (e.g., DoorDash, Amazon Flex). The vehicle is not to be used for personal travel or purposes outside of rideshare and delivery services unless specifically agreed upon.

- Maintenance and Care: You are responsible for keeping the vehicle in good condition. This includes keeping the vehicle clean, performing basic checks (e.g., tire pressure, fuel levels), and ensuring it is returned in the same condition it was rented.

- Prohibited Use: The vehicle may not be used for any illegal activities, subletting, or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The vehicle is not allowed to be driven by anyone other than the authorized renter without prior written consent.

3. Insurance and Liability

- Insurance Coverage: Breeze Rental Cars provides basic insurance options for all rideshare rentals. However, you must ensure that you meet the insurance requirements of your rideshare platform (Uber, Lyft, etc.) for coverage while driving. You may opt for additional coverage at an extra cost.

- Damage or Accident: You are responsible for any damages or accidents that occur during the rental period unless otherwise stated in your insurance agreement. If the vehicle is involved in an accident, you must notify Breeze Rental Cars immediately and follow all instructions.

- Excessive Wear and Tear: Any damage beyond normal wear and tear (e.g., tire damage, bodywork scratches) will be charged to the renter, including costs for repairs and any downtime the vehicle may experience.

4. Payment and Fees

- Rental Payment: Payments for rideshare rentals are due in full at the time of booking. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as specified on our website. The payment covers the rental period, insurance, and any additional services selected.

- Additional Fees: Additional fees may apply for late returns, additional drivers, or extra services (e.g., delivery/pickup). A late fee will be charged if the vehicle is not returned by the agreed-upon time.

- Deposit: A deposit may be required at the time of booking to secure the rental. This deposit will be refunded upon the return of the vehicle, minus any fees for damage, cleaning, or late returns.

5. Renter Responsibilities

- Fuel: The vehicle must be returned with the same level of fuel as when rented. Failure to do so will result in a fuel surcharge.

- Tolls and Fines: You are responsible for paying all tolls, parking fines, and traffic violations incurred during the rental period. If fines are unpaid, they will be charged to your rental account.

- Vehicle Return: The vehicle must be returned to the designated drop-off location at the end of the rental period. Failure to return the vehicle on time will incur additional fees.

6. Cancellations and Changes

- Cancellations: You can cancel your rideshare rental up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time without incurring any cancellation fees. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup may incur a fee.

- Changes to Rental: If you need to change your rental dates or vehicle type, please notify Breeze Rental Cars as soon as possible. Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

By renting a rideshare vehicle from Breeze Rental Cars, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. This includes the collection of personal and payment information to process your booking and rental.

8. Termination of Rental Agreement

Breeze Rental Cars reserves the right to terminate this agreement and repossess the vehicle at any time if the renter violates any of these terms, including but not limited to illegal activities, driving under the influence, or failing to make payments.

9. Modifications to Terms and Conditions

Breeze Rental Cars reserves the right to modify or update these Rideshare Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated date. It is your responsibility to review these terms regularly.
